| INTRODUCTION
TO COMMUNITY TELEVISION |

This is a FREE one-session
class open to all Evanston Residents, held on the first Monday of every
month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (unless otherwise determined). Participants
learn about the purpose and history of public access television, access
services available at the Evanston CMC, the policies and procedures of
our organization, and how to operate cameras for studio productions.
The Intro class certifies
new members to operate our studio cameras, and is a prerequisite for all
other production classes and workshops, and productions at the Evanston
Community Media Center.

| STUDIO PRODUCTION CLASS |
Participants will learn
how to produce and direct a studio television program, all about pre-production
planning, and how to work as crew on cameras, lighting, audio, switching,
and titling through hands-on-training. Upon completion of the course, participants
may produce or crew programs in the Media Center studios.

| FIELD
PRODUCTION AND EDITING CLASS |
This class covers the
fundamentals of portable video production using industrial to professional-grade
DV Camcorders. Students will also learn video editing techniques
to create a coherent and visually interesting program. Upon completion of
the course, participants become certified to use the Media Center field
equipment and editing suites.

| FINAL-CUT PRO CLASS |
Learn non-linear editing
in our new Final-Cut Pro suite. This Mac G5 editing based software is designed to allow
digital footage to be edited and mastered back to digital tape. Final-Cut Pro is a professional time-line based system, that allows advanced users
to explore their creative side.

This Class is a follow up to Final Cut Pro. Learn advanced FCP tricks and Tips along with being introduced to the other programs in
Final Cut Studio: Live Type, Soundtrack, Motion etc.
